Deductive Logic: Lesson One
Context: Watching the movie "Elf", starring Will Farrell. We're at the scene in which Buddy (Farrell)'s adoptive father tells Buddy there are people who (gasp!) don't believe in Santa Claus.
"Mom. I have to tell you something."
"What?"
"That's really true. There are people in the world who don't believe in Santa Claus."
"Really?"
"Yeah. But I do. I believe in Santa Claus. Know why?"
"Why?"
"Because he's REAL."
